Terms of Service

Account responsibilities

You must be old enough to form a contract in your state to create a Complié account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for keeping your password and devices secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@mycomplie.com if you think someone else is using your account.

Complié is currently offered as a closed pilot. We may require a site access password, limit who can sign up, or change what is available without notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Complié for anything illegal or to harm another person
• try to access another family’s account, data, or files
• probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or bypass authentication or the site access password
• upload malware, or content you do not have the right to use
• scrape the product or reuse it to build a competing service from our non-public data

User-provided content

You keep the rights to the schedules, photos, documents, notes, and other content you add. You grant Complié a limited license to store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the product for you — including sending an uploaded document to our AI processor when you ask Hey Complié to read it.

You represent that you have the right to upload the content you provide, including photos of your dancers and competition documents your studio or event shared with you.

Third-party services, including Google Calendar

Complié relies on third parties to run: hosting (Vercel), database and authentication (Supabase), optional document reading (OpenAI), and Google for optional sign-in and optional Google Calendar.

If you sign in with Google, Google’s terms also apply to that sign-in. If you connect Google Calendar, Complié will create and maintain a separate calendar named “Complié Schedule” in your Google account. Complié is not Google. Google may change, limit, or revoke API access. Calendar events in Google remain subject to Google’s terms. You can revoke Complié in your Google Account at any time.

Availability

We aim to keep Complié available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change, especially during the pilot. Scheduled times, packing lists, and extracted documents can be wrong. You remain responsible for confirming studio and competition details with your studio and the event organizer.

Disclaimers

Complié is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the schedule, packing list, or any import from a PDF or photo is complete or correct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Complié and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed competitions, or costume or travel costs, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Complié will not exceed the amount you paid us for Complié in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you paid nothing.

Termination

You may stop using Complié at any time and request deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if we discontinue the pilot, or if we need to protect the service or other families. After termination, the license you granted us ends except that we may keep limited records as required by law.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is material we will try to provide notice in the product or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in North Carolina will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect the service.
