Who we are

Complié is a product for dance families at www.mycomplie.com. Questions about this policy: hello@mycomplie.com.

Account information

When you create a Complié account we collect the email address you use to sign in, a password if you choose email sign-in, your first and last name, timezone, and onboarding progress. If you sign in with Google, our authentication provider (Supabase) receives your Google account email and name so we can create or link your Complié account. We store the name on your Complié profile when that field is empty. We do not receive your Google password.

You can add an optional parent photo. Sign-in cookies keep you logged in. If the closed-pilot password is enabled on the live site, we also set a cookie that only records that you already entered that password. These public pages do not require that cookie.

Dancer information

Parents enter information about their dancers so Complié can organize a season: names, birthdate, studio and team names, genres, photos, routines, costume and hair details, packing lists, garment bags, and competition results. That information belongs to the parent account that created it. Other families cannot see it.

Schedule information

Complié stores the schedule items you add or confirm: studio classes, rehearsals, competitions, conventions, travel, private lessons, and other family events, including dates, times, stages, venues, hotels, and notes. Competition weekends, performances, call times, and timeline items are stored so we can show you what is happening and what to pack.

Uploaded documents and photos

You may upload PDFs, screenshots, and photos so Complié can help you file a studio or competition schedule, results, or memories. Schedule and results files are read in order to extract the facts you review before anything is saved. Complié does not keep those original import files as a document library. Facts you confirm (routine names, times, venues, results) are stored in your account.

Photos you choose to keep — dancer portraits, parent photos, costume or hair photos, and competition memories — are stored in a private media bucket tied to your account.

If you ask Hey Complié to read a note, PDF, or photo, we may send that content to our AI processor (OpenAI) so we can suggest what to add. Suggestions are shown to you first. Complié does not write those suggestions into your account until you confirm them.

Google user data and Limited Use

Complié uses Google OAuth so you can sign in with Google. That sign-in access is used only to authenticate you and to read the Google account email and name needed for your Complié profile.

You may optionally connect Google Calendar. When you do, Complié accesses Google user data only to create and maintain a dedicated secondary calendar named “Complié Schedule” and the events on that calendar that correspond to schedule items you keep in Complié. Complié does not use Google Calendar access to create other calendars, to read, copy, or change your existing calendars, or to scan your email.

Complié’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

• Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing Complié features (sign-in, and the optional Complié Schedule calendar).
• Complié does not sell Google user data.
• Complié does not use Google user data for advertising, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
• Complié does not use Google user data to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
• Complié does not transfer Google user data to others except as needed to provide those features through our hosting and authentication providers, to comply with law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.
• Humans at Complié do not read your Google user data unless you ask us to, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated and no longer identifiable.

Google OAuth tokens

Google sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Supabase. Google issues OAuth tokens to complete sign-in. Supabase stores those authentication tokens on its hosted Auth service so you can stay signed in. Complié application tables (profiles, dancers, schedules, and related records) do not store a copy of Google OAuth tokens. Session cookies are sent only over HTTPS.

Sign-in tokens are used only to authenticate you to Complié. They are not used to access Google Calendar. They are retained while your Complié account remains active and your Google identity stays linked. They are deleted when you sign out (session cookies), when you revoke Complié in your Google Account, or when we delete your Complié account.

If you connect Google Calendar, Complié will request Calendar permission separately from sign-in. Those Calendar tokens will be stored with your account on our hosted backend (Supabase), transmitted only over HTTPS, used only to create and maintain the “Complié Schedule” calendar and its events, retained only while the connection is active, and deleted when you disconnect Google Calendar, revoke access in Google, or we delete your Complié data. Complié does not currently persist Google Calendar OAuth tokens, because Calendar write access is requested only after you connect Calendar.

How we use information

We use account, dancer, schedule, document, and photo information to operate Complié: show your week, prepare competitions, keep packing lists, store results, and improve those same features. We use infrastructure providers to host the app and database (currently Vercel and Supabase) and, when you use document reading, OpenAI. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregated site usage. We do not sell your information.

Disconnecting Google Calendar and deleting data

To disconnect Google Calendar, remove Complié’s access in your Google Account under Third-party access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can also email hello@mycomplie.com and ask us to disconnect Calendar access and delete related tokens. Signing out of Complié ends your Complié session. It does not by itself revoke Google permissions.

To request deletion of your Complié data, email hello@mycomplie.com. We will delete the dancer, schedule, photo, and other records tied to your account from our systems. Data Google holds in your Google Account, including a “Complié Schedule” calendar if one was created, remains under your Google Account unless you delete it there.

Security and retention

Family data is stored in Supabase with row-level security so one parent’s records are not served to another. Media files live in a private bucket. We keep information while your account is active so Complié can show your season. After a deletion request we remove account data from active systems, except where we must keep a limited record to comply with law or resolve a dispute.

Children

Complié accounts are for parents and other adults organizing a dance family. Children do not create their own accounts. Dancer names, birthdates, and photos are provided by the adult account holder.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of Complié after a change means you accept the updated policy.
